Came here during a week long vacation with a big group of people who do yearly and they always talked about coming here, so we came here the first day. We were sat outside at a huge round stone fire pit table which was really cool and had plenty of room for our group of 11 people. It was so good we came back a second time, some of us a third time! For drinks: I had a Surf Rat. I liked it a lot and got to keep the glass. We all ordered a few rounds of shots off their awesome shot menu, I tried something that I think had dragonfruit in it and it was really good and also got an Oatmeal Cookie and it was delicious! I also tried a Raspberry Kiss martini which was pretty good and something else that was made with peach liquor and champagne, it wasn't anything great but it wasn't bad either. Appetizers: We all got something different. I tried the fried jalapenos which were very good and not too spicy. The fried pickles were also excellent. I got onion rings and loved them, the regular ranch went better with those than the tiger sauce did. Entrees: The first time I got the combo because I couldn't decide what I wanted to get and it has a little of everything. It comes with ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and sides. It was all SO GOOD! The BBQ sauces were of course so good too. For my sides I got loaded garlic mashed potatoes which were amazing, and corn. The corn was literally swimming in butter which is gross but it was still edible. The second time I got a half rack of baby back ribs and they were so good it just fell right off the bone the way it should. I tried the green beans for my side and hated them, whatever they were seasoned with was not good. I tried both the garlic bread and corn muffin and recommend the garlic bread. Can't wait to come back next trip!

Okay I know I said I would never be back after my 1 star review, but a local swore we must have gone on an off night and it's been 3yrs, so we figured let's give it another shot. The ambience is great with the outside seating and the service was good. This is why I upgraded it to 2 stars. The food is just still not good. I had the turkey which was dry, my husband had the pork which had no taste, literally no taste. The beef was better however it was fatty. The sweet BBQ sauce is still not sweet. The corn bread was much better than last. The green beans were just okay. The salad was good. I don't plan on going back. 2 chances is enough, however if I had to I would eat salad only. The overall rating of the restaurant has gone down since my last review and unfortunately I think that will continue to be the case.

Had some mild wings, and Sweet Spicey wings.. I tell you these are the best wings i've had EVER!!!!!!!!! I've been to a lot of wing spots but this place beats them all by far.

Great reviews??? maybe, but not from me. Service was horrible, but it seemed tied to our server. Tables with other (better?) servers came in after and left before us. Service is bad when you need to go find your server to get the check.....were we forgotten? Ohh and the credit card machine doesn't always work. Food was average and the prices were reasonable, but service will keep me from coming back

I was in town for a weekend trip and went to Slow & Low based on some reviews I read here. I was swayed because I was dining alone and in the mood for BBQ and I'm pretty finicky about it, but most of the comments were strong. Good news is that I was seated very quickly inside, and the service is excellent. Everyone was very attentive even though the place was hopping. The menu is very expansive and while part of me wanted to sample one of those giant turkey legs that would have meant no BBQ, so just went to that page of the menu. I was tempted to go with the sampler platter which gives you like 2 oz of everything, but then I may have gotten a taste of 5 things but probably not enough of the one thing I hoped I'd like the best. So I went with the pulled pork and two sides with a side salad. Side salad came out super fast, and just as I was finishing it, the dinner came right behind it. Which would have been great, but I get wary when things aren't spaced out and those fears were confirmed when I took a bite of the pork and immediately went for the sauce because it seemed as if my dinner came from a slightly old batch. Not that it was bad or overly dry, but I could tell that they know there stuff here and could clearly have done better if it was hotter and fresher. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, but while eating I started to get the onset of a migraine and just was not in the mood to complain or send anything back. The dinner included two pieces of garlic toast, and the odd thing was one of them was soggy and stale while the other was fine. Again, probably just had bad luck but if I went there again I definitely would have sent it back. Sides were great (vegetable and curly fries) and had zero room for dessert. So it wasn't as if I felt cheated. I think 3- is really an appropriate score. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for BBQ.

Really good BBQ!! Had the pulled pork. It melted in my mouth. Prices are good and so is the atmosphere. Service very friendly!!

    (5)
  • Marc W.

Kind of a 3-minus. The menu is pretty diverse and the bar is good but the beer selection is pedestrian and limited. The barbecue is about average. Fried pickles and fried jalapeños were the best thing we had. It's all open-air seating, which almost always would get them at least 4 stars. However, they allow smoking, which makes 3 stars a big stretch. Service was okay but they seemed rushed and confused. They were okay for kids -- if I had known they allowed smoking I never would have taken them there. All in all, good food, good atmosphere (but for the smoking), okay bar, okay service.

    (2)
  • David H.

Great wings! They are smoked and no breading!!! Excellent choice whether naked or with sauce. Pulled pork cuban is great, but small. Green beans are amazing.

    (4)
  • C G.

Not the greatest fare, but service is great for whatever that's worth. The bathrooms were horrific (stench). Felt like a great place to have a beer in their open air patio so I'd give it another shot.

    (2)
  • Keith W.

Not a bad place for some 'que. Would come back. Staff had the "deer in headlights" look. Baby back ribs were good and tender. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a fried piece of chx with sauce dumped on it. But good place to drink and get sloppy.

  • Michele H.

Was seated on the patio, was very dark, not much lighting out there. So we sat there for 20 mins with no one even acknowledging us, and servers came over to check on surrounding tables but nothing towards us. So after sitting for 30 mins we got up and left. We decided to try the other bbq restaurant down in Cape Canaveral. Not a single person ever came over to our table! Its a shame really cuz we own a restaurant, we are locals and we are great tippers! Very disappointed!

What a great spot for food BBQ at the beach! I have heard about Slow and Low from the radio, SBK in particular years ago, and finally made the trip to check it out one day. My boyfriend and I both walked away full and happy! I'll be back on my next Cocoa trip for sure.

  • Dustin S.

This place crushes it! Used to be that the only smoked ribbs I like are the ones I make myself. With my tail happily between my legs I will confess I have been defeated.. Hats Off to slow and low.

  • Kimi G.

We vacation in Cocoa Beach every two years and religiously stop here a few times throughout the course of the week. I've had a little bit of everything so it's hard to provide a favorite. The ribs are amazing! My sister's go-to is the southwest burger. The combo is awesome because it's a nice "little" sampler. You can't go wrong with the appetizers! We've had fried jalapenos, coconut shrimp (omigawd!), onion rings, wings, and fried pickle chips. The jalapenos and onion rings are always a must for us. This place is definitely one of the things we really look forward to while vacationing, so much that we talk about it throughout our 12+ hour car ride down!

I try not to be a reactive reviewer so I waited a week to write this thinking I could somehow review this place and make the point tactfully. This restaurant has lots of potential and after reading a lot of the reviews "inconsistent" probably is a good description. Pros- Smoke flavor through and though All the meat was moist and fall off the bone tender Beautiful setting and great location Service was okay Plenty of seating Cons- I should have had more to say about the food it was just average We were seated in the hallway between the bar and the restaurant it was hot The bathroom needs to be checked and cleaned more often than it is now I had the combination platter I didn't realize how small a two ounce serving of anything is I thought the portions were kids size with a grown up price There are better BBQ options in the area.

I can only write a review for the take-out experience. But on our last day in Cocoa Beach, I had yet to act on a tip from a friend in PA, who insisted that I try Slow and Low. Since today would be my last option to grab take out, Slow and Low it was. Upon the barmaid's suggestion, I tried the "Hog" sandwich, or something like that. Cheddar, bacon, and yes, pork BBQ. Absolutely fantastic. Two different sauces were sent home with me, and if I could dunk my chair in them, I would. Outta this world. Price for the sandwich and a side of vinegar cole slaw (yikes, good, but spicy) was $11 and change. Only regret is that it won't be until our return trip in 2016 that I'll have a chance to spend more time with the menu!

  • Jim C.

Very good BBQ. Very nice smoke flavor in the meats. I had the baby-backs, they were fall-off-the-bone good. But they must have been sitting out for awhile, as they were not hot. I really liked their "hot" barbecue sauce, I poured it liberally on the ribs, as they needed sauce. The star of the show was the deep-fried jalapeños. Wow, each one was a bomb-shell of flavor, I could have uneaten those all night long. Also very good were the fried green tomatoes, some of the best I've had. The smoked fish appetizer was very good too.

    (4)
  • Dennis L.

Brisket was good but in need of salt. Sides are pretty lame especially potato salad. Drinks were good.

    (3)
  • Bill C.

Came here for dinner after work. The BBQ was pretty good. The ribs were tasty but the brisket was a little bland. The sides were fairly good. Our server was very attentive and helpful which was a nice thing. Slow & low is a pretty mellow, casual place to eat. I liked that. They had a full bar which is always a plus in a BBQ joint. I liked the place, but I think I will also try other places the next time I'm back. If you haven't been to Slow & low, I suggest you give it a try. It's worth a try. Nice job folks.

Ate dinner at cocoa beach slow and low. Yea, wish I could give it a - 1 star. Cold food, slow service at bar, and it's not a clean place. Totally turned off With my visit. I usually go to Viera. Don't waste your time.

Excellent BBQ! Loved this place! The food was worth it! Can't go down to cocoa beach without trying this place!

    (5)
  • John B.

In Cocoa Beach there aren't that many places for BBQ.With that said this place is pretty good. Prices are fair and the house BBQ sauce is on point. If you want a little bit of everything definitely get the combo platter.

    (4)
  • Amy S.

Picked up order. Everything was exactly as ordered. Great service by ladies at the counter. Cute interior, looks comfortable. Food was great. Liked the ribs and sweet potatoes especially. Chicken was a bit spicy for me but others enjoyed it. Will be back!

    (5)
  • Brian S.

The baby back ribs were fall off the bone good. The sauces are all very tasty and compliment the meal. Not a super fancy place or a whole lot of atmosphere (like Dave's) but the price is very reasonable. This is the perfect place to go for a good quick meal.

  • Amanda W.

I stopped in with a friend for dinner last Sunday night. I am a pescatarian, so I opted for grilled BBQ shrimp. I chose the collard greens and green beans with garlic toast as a side (these do have pork cooked into them, so I cheated a little bit). The shrimp were cooked to perfection, succulent and sweet. The beans and collards were melt in your mouth delicious. They had a 1 man acoustic rock/pop set playing outside which was pretty decent. They have a full bar, so you can come for the food or just for some drinks. Service was with a smile. Definitely a great option for BBQ!

    (4)
  • Jennifer G.

Not the greatest service. Garlic toast had no flavor at all. Nothing special. Dirty. The live one man band was super loud and hurt my ears. Don't place him next to tables.

  • V B.

Our server was so nice. Our food was great. Very good brisket. All the sauces were good. There was some deal where we got to keep our beer glasses so that was a nice souvenir for us to take home.

    (4)
  • Mario C.

The staff is great, Kara was prompt and very attentive. The bbw was good, brisket was the best. Good spot to come eat, didn't blow me away. Still good food.

I was looking for local barbeque (not Sonny's) on a recent visit to the area and the concierge recommended Slow & Low. Overall, it was a good experience. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was great. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the food. It was good, but not as great as I was expecting. However, I would definitely be willing to go back and give Slow & Low another try.

    (3)
  • Erica H.

I had a great pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast with a mild BBQ sauce and a nice cold IPA to wash it down. I enjoyed the outside bar and the live music. It was a good end to the day.

    (4)
  • Michael K.

You would expect good bbq from the atmosphere. However what arrives is barely edible. The food is overpriced and the brisket was dry. The staff was even worse, when their website prices didn't match their current menu the manager gave my wife attitude about the difference. Would not recommend either locations. I would rather go to Sonny's.

  • Tracey F.

I always really enjoy the sandwiches here. They have a terrific messy one with cole slaw. This trip however I ordered the prime rib. It was good and had a nice smokey flavor.comes with 2 sides of your choice and I chose a baked sweet potato and fried okra, both were great. We ate at the bar and had fairly good service. She was by herself and fairly busy. The drinks were tasty , shots and cocktails.it amuses me thAt people complain about the smoking. I and my family are non smokers, but this is a bar area. All the restaurants in Florida have patios that allow smoking in bar areas. All the other reviews seem to skip that the inside of the restaurant is a non smoking area. If smokers bother you, despite open air and fans, then choose their nice air conditioned booths . All in All, it's a great place for a drink after the beach or a tasty meal. Nice selection of food and drinks so there's something for everybody.

  • Melissa C.

Yum yum yum! We had the ribs, pulled pork, and wings and everything was delicious!!! It is fun to pick your own sauce too. Fun atmosphere and there was even a band there for some live music! Great time with great food-highly recommend

  • Chris A.

Wow this place is excellent! I had the ribs and the meat was tender, delicious, and fell off the bone. The baked beans were awesome. I will be back, the prices were very reasonable and everything was great! Thanks :-)

    (4)
  • Heidi H.

The actual meat was great, but could hardly taste the barbecue sauce. Our server didn't check in much, which was disappointing, overall, I'm glad we went :) We are not local, so completely relying on yelp reviews for best places in the area.

  • Dennis E.

Two words, The Hog! Best BBQ sandwich around. Mixed pulled pork and beef brisket in a spicey sauce. Great sides too! Outdoor area is great for Sunday football. All the games are on and they have beer specials. I've been here 100 times and never ate inside. If the smokers would leave it would be perfect.

    (4)
  • Rob K.

Best BBQ in Brevard County by far. And we've tried them all. Get the St Louis Ribs. Smoked perfectly every time. The Joels Crazy sandwich is just down and dirty. The smoked turkey leg! Yum! The 1/2 chicken us my go to standard. Always perfect, tender and juicy. And try some fried jalapeños!

    (5)
  • Rebekah G.

This place never fails! I had the brisket and it was very good. The atmosphere is cool, there's normally someone playing music out on the back deck which is nice to enjoy during dinner. The staff are very nice. This is once place that should not be missed during your visit to Cocoa Beach.

My mom has been raving about this restaurant for a while, so my boyfriend and I were excited to finally try it with her. As BBQ connoisseurs, we have some pretty big expectations when it comes to BBQ taste and flavor, and this restaurant meets them! To start, we were all in the mood to drink, so my mom ordered Cruzan Voodoo Juice for us to share. It came in a tiny 20 oz. bucket you get to keep and is one of those sweet, potent drinks where the alcohol can't be tasted. One of my disappointments was that there was nothing special about the bucket you get to keep. It wasn't branded with anything (the restaurant's name, alcohol, something!) and was just a generic bucket. The waitress said it used to be a Malibu bucket, but they stopped giving those away (probably to cut costs). If you are going to charge $12 for a specialty drink that comes in a bucket and advertise that you get to keep the bucket, at least make it exciting for the customer and have some type of branding on it! Afterall, souvenirs like that make for interesting stories and can lead to positive word of mouth marketing! The Cruzan Voodoo Juice also had a lot of ice in it, so we felt a bit ripped off. We did end up ordering a second one though because it was so good. When it came time to give us the buckets to take home, the waitress did make them cute by tying a little ribbon on each. For my meal, I ordered the Slow Smoked BBQ Salad with pulled pork. The waitress offered me Texas toast, cornbread, or one of each, so I chose one of each. I picked Oil and Vinegar for my salad dressing. My boyfriend ordered The Hog (minus the onions, add jalapeños and cole slaw), and my mom got the to-go LB Beef Brisket special and fried okra. The manager had to approve her ordering this in house since it is a to-go item, and ultimately let her do so, but the exception meant it had to be served in a styrofoam cup. I really enjoyed my salad, and I didn't even really use or need much dressing on it since the flavor of the pork was so good. The Texas toast was like any other, and the cornbread was actually a muffin and pretty good although I've had better. I tried my mom's brisket and also liked that. The fried okra was homemade and some of the best I've ever had. I didn't get a chance to try my boyfriend's sandwich, and he said he liked it but it didn't quite meet his expectations. He was trying to mimic a sandwich we both like at another BBQ joint in Daytona, and this one didn't do the trick because the coleslaw was different, and the sandwich was served on a hoagie roll over bun which he wasn't fond of. I will definitely be back since I plan to spend some more time in Cocoa. I also hear they have a good happy hour here. Anyone who doesn't like this place just can't recognize good BBQ. The only things preventing me from giving it 5 stars are the experience and fact that my heart still belongs to another BBQ joint that is just a tad more special (Charlie and Jake's in Melbourne).

Great local hang out. exellent local entertainment. Has had a history of havng best bartenders in town. If you want to go and have a few drinks and enjoy the Florida weather than hang out at the tiki bar. You can eat outside or have a quiet meal inside. Friendly service with good southern smoked bbq but you will be in for a treat if you never had smoked baby back ribs. These are hand down the best ribs in Brevard county if not central Florida. I strongly suggest them. Briskit is dang good too. Trust the locals. this is the place for good dinner and drinks.

  • Matt H.

Great place to go for ribs. The st. Luis ribs to be specific were fantastic. Chose to sit inside and I believe that's a better choice, being that outside is very loud and a little wild. Don't order the sweet tea. Waitress Ciara was great and very helpful.

Stopped on vacation. Loved this place - the best brisket I have had in 20 years! Sides were excellent and service fantastic! Will go every time in the area.

Slow & Low is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I vacationed in Florida for a week and ended up eating here twice. We ordered a tasty, crispy tower of onion rings that came with two interesting, totally unique, totally delicious varieties of sauce. We also ordered various versions of their pulled pork sandwiches - all of which we loved. The flavors were amazing and the pulled pork was melt-in-your-mouth good. The sandwiches came with loaded mashed potatoes (get them loaded) which were, again, amazing. They also make a great mango mojito! Besides the delicious food, the service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We can't say enough good things about this place! We can't wait to go back!

  • Raina S.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch in Cocoa Beach. Not only do they have amazing BBQ, it's also a fun place. I tried the pork shoulder sandwich. It came with two sides. It was hard to choose the sides because they have a lot of them and they all sounded good! I went with fried okra (I'm in the South, after all!) and the sweet potato chips. My daughter got teriyaki chicken wings. Everything was amazingly good! Service was excellent. Slow & Low looks like a great place to spend the day, watching sports on their many TVs and throwing back beers. Some day I want to come back and do that!

  • Kevin H.

Being the BBQ snob that I am (I believe mine is best) this place stacks up pretty well. Atmosphere is great especially the patio. Real smoked meats. Pulled pork is best. Brisket and ribs are avg. Chicken and turkey are above avg. Price is more than fair.

  • Stephen F.

My wife and I entered and waited to be seated by an older woman who did not have time to get off her call. Then we were seated outside an could not get away from the smell of the trash when the wind blew. After twenty minutes of the waiting for a waitress who passed us by repeatedly to talk to the locals we left. By the way maybe ten people in the establishment at the time. So rude I guess the owner was away. When next door to the pig and whistle service and food was great.

    (1)
  • Gregory R.

Had dinner there with a few people. We all agreed that it was the best bbq we've had so far in this area. The fried jalapeños as an appetizer were great and the wings were delicious. You can actually taste the smoke in them, unlike the other bbq places in the area. I will definitely return here the next time I'm looking for bbq while I'm in the area for work. We sat outside which was nice. Not sure what the inside is like. Service was decent. I'll head back here. Give them a try if you like true smoked bbq.

    (4)
  • Angie W.

Slow and Low = tough and dry. We had to load our meat with tons of sauce and/or vinegar because it was so dry. The sides are great. Service was quick. Nice outdoor seating. Probably will not return for anything other than a beer on the patio.

Spent the day at the beach with the family. We decided to give this place a shot because we pass it all the time, on our way to our secret beach spot. ;) The decor is very cool and prevalent throughout the restaurant. It's very entertaining to read all of the little quirky signs throughout. :D After reading some Yelp reviews, I had to try the Joel's Crazy Pork Sandwich. It was VERY GOOD!! Nothing special about the fries, but the fried green tomatoes, corn fritters and fried pickles were also very good. I will definitely be back soon. I would love a crack at the 6 lb. Pulled Pork Sandwich! Lol! Do I get a t-shirt?

  • Jamie L.

Came in with a big group after a day on the beach. Service was cute I mean good. Food was great. Pulled pork was excellent. Brisket was moist. Coconut shrimp was standard but large portioned. I would come here a again.

This place rocks! Really great BBQ and service. Came here on vacation and it was one of the best meals we had. Fast derive and excellent food.

The baked beans and the bake sweet potato with whipped cinnamon butter alone makes this place amazing!! I sat outside in a nice warm January afternoon with a light breeze and reggae music playing. Felt so right. Got the half rack of st Louis ribs and a few oz. of pulled pork for lunch on the nice server lady's recommendation. They were both finger-licking good even if the pork was a little on the dry side. Side note: the meat comes out pretty much dry with the BBQ sauces (3 diff spicy levels) on the table for you. Now, it was a lot of food for lunch for a girl my size; but I couldn't help but clean off the two plates worth of meat and sides! Great atmosphere, great food, and great service!! Hopefully I'll get the chance to go back soon.

  • Tye P.

Very good BBQ but the service is just ok. Lots of parking in the back and live music which is a plus. Careful what time you visit, the restaurant can turn into more of a bar scene and the service gets slower and less professional.

    (3)
  • Brian T.

Food is good, not the best bbq I have had but better than most! The outside bar is nice with live music on weekends during the evening.

Stopped by in the middle of the day for a beer and some nacho's...wished I would not have. Bad service, horrible food and kind of a dirty atmosphere. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place earned it. If you are in the mood for BBQ, visit Mad Jacks Grillin Shack a little north up the street

Staying in Cocoa Beach for a launch, I once again turned to the collective wisdom of Yelp and was once again rewarded! The food here is some great southern barbecue packaged in a very cool restaurant. The waitstaff is attentive and really accommodating (my friend has a gluten allergy and she checked to see if their biscuits would be OK for him). The pork here is the real hero, but I am sure the other meats hold up nicely. You know you're at a good bbq spot when they have 4 sauces on the table, and we were very pleased with all of them. They happened to have some live music out on the patio, too, and it was some great background (and good song selection)! If I ever find myself back here, I'll be back for sure.

  • Pablo S.

I can understand the mixed reviews, if you are coming here just for barbecue, you might be disappointed. The barbecue is good, but not the best I ever had. But remember, you are a block from the beach. This place is all about laid back atmosphere and great prices. I stop here for lunch almost daily when I'm in town. You really need to sit at the outdoor bar area. An excellent mix of locals and tourists. The staff is outstanding. Happy hour is a must with draft beer about 2 bucks, and 2 for 1! They really do have the best burger on the beach. Menu prices are very reasonable. I have been here 20+ times and never had a bad experience.

Awesome BBQ. My family and I go here as much as we possibly can whenever in Cocoa. I am originally from SC, where we have mustard based BBQ sauce mostly. slow and Low has a great one. Reminiscent of Maurice's in Columbia. If youve been there then you know what I'm talking about. You have to try the fried okra too!

  • Kelli T.

Fun atmosphere. Outside patio dining, nice for kids. They had an a guy going around making balloon animals for the kids. We all tried something different and loved it. Not too heavy on the BBQ sauce so you could actually get the flavor of the meats. The servings were large and we didn't bring home any leftovers! Also great specials - we had 7 people (incl. 3 adults who drank beer) and the bill was under $100!

This place has great BBQ and good value. We visit every time in Cocoa. The half chicken is tender and filling. I recommend to try this restaurant you will visit again. Really good value for children's menu.

Well, Yelp, you let me down. Decor: I guess they're going for a laid-back beach vibe, but it just comes across as run down. Service: Relatively friendly but slow and inattentive. No refills, had our credit card out and waiting for a good ten minutes before server came to bring the check. Menu: All the basics you'll find at any BBQ establishment. There was a lot of focus on "fun" drinks in souvenir glasses, that should be a clue. Food: Just terrible. All of our food came out at room temperature. Absolutely nothing was hot! The cornbread was dry and no butter was served with it. The toast was literally black on one side-completely burned and they served it like that. Green beans and baked beans looked and tasted like hospital cafeteria food. The pulled pork was more of a messy chop than pulled, and was FULL of fat pieces. Bland and dull, and all four sauces were unappealing. I definitely would not return, what a disappointment.

Excellent food and excellent service. The prices are VERY reasonable. We ate like kings and spent less than $50 total for 3 full courses and beers. The fried jalapeños are killer as is the pulled chicken.

Very good food, very poor service. Probably because they were under-staffed. Waitress was very friendly, she was just over-loaded. Would recommend this place to a friend.

The actual meat is fantastic. It is wonderfully smoked. However the bbq is very very vinegary based even the sweet sauce. However the server not so much. Didn't catch her name. I asked for all white I received dark. I asked for a side of sour cream for my baked potato I received nothing. I had to go to the hostess stand and ask someone for sour cream. A gentleman delivered it. He was very nice and helpful. Server was never around.

The atmosphere outside here is great. They have good beers on tap and the service was good. We've been here a few times and had a good experience everytime. The Slider Sampler Plate (it was a lunch special) was my favorite and my husband gets the BBQ Chicken. We also enjoy the corn nuggets. The coconut crusted shrimp was a hit if you like fried food. My only complaint was the BBQ nachos, I've had better and wouldn't order that again.

Nice casual place with excellent barbeque. I tried the smoked turkey and Brunswick stew. Both were great!

Good find. Who would think you would find a delicious homemade brat in cocoa beach? Their brat was as good as you find in Wisconsin. Ribs were fall off the bone tender.

We came back. I think it was the "free" 32oz beer glass - marketing genius. The sides were still only mediocre and my prime rib was not so good. If I'm only here to save $1.50 on beer, it's definitely not worth it.

My friend recommended this place. The prices are decent. It was $1 for draft bud light that day :) I got the pulled pork with, corn bread, and something else. my friend got some kind of beef. The food was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. Cornbread was really dry.. It's sooo quiet in there, they need music. I felt like I was eating in a ghost town with barely anyone in there and it being so quiet.

I agree with the BBQ not being the best, but overall the meals were very good. The Keylime pie was excellent and light. We escaped a downpour on the open air patio, and had a very fun experience there.

In short: delicious, truly fall-off-the-bone BBQ, with good, cold beer. Prices were a little high but fair for the quantity and quality of food. We went around for a late lunch and ate at the outdoor bar tables patio. The bartender was our server, which I thought might go badly, but she was surprisingly friendly, attentive, and helpful. She even changed one of the tvs so we could watch a match. The outdoor area was very well air conditioned, such that I was actually chilly outdoors in 90 degree weather! Cold beer only improved that, but I thought it was pretty impressive in itself. The ribs were SO GOOD. I got the full rack and promptly inhaled it. I didn't get to try what my s.o. had, because he ate it before I could have a bite. That said, don't misunderstand me, the portions are very well-sized. You will not likely leave hungry. We actually went here because I was home all day and the Dustin's BBQ commercial kept playing over and over (THAT SONG!), so I was hypnotized into needing short ribs through absolutely no volition of my own. I have no idea where there's a Dustin's nearby, but we knew someone who worked as a server at Slow & Low, so it just fit into place. We got the inside scoop on this place through said friend, in that they really do slow cook their BBQ, take very good care of their ingredients, and have a care about their food. Next time I am "thinkin' barbecue," and have a little money to spend, I will look forward to heading to Slow and Low.

Our group of 4 stopped here after being at the beach. We asked to be seated inside because it was very windy. It was about 4:45 when we were seated & we were the only people sitting inside at that time. After several minutes a waitress came to take our drink order. After several more minutes she returned but didn't have one of the beers. She came back with it & said she'd be "right back" to take our order. She then went off to deliver drinks to another group that had come in well after us. At that time she took their order & disappeared. It was well over a half hour since we'd been seated before our order was taken. Then it was a very long time before we saw her again & we asked where our food was because people who'd been seated after us had gotten their food already. Two more beers were ordered & after that again it was a long time without seeing anyone. Finally one of our group went to speak with the hostess who sent the manager to our table. He was completely clueless about the situation stating that he'd checked the time stamp on the orders which, since we'd been there over a half hour before our order had been taken, was completely irrelevant. Someone said they wanted another beer which he said he'd get but never did. Our waitress was flagged down to get the beer which she never brought either. Our food eventually arrived as people who'd been seated after us were leaving. The food itself was very good although the sides were cold probably from being staged waiting for the entrees. By the time we finished our meal we had been there almost 2 1/2 hours. The manager never made any attempt to make this fiasco right. With the large amount of dining options available in this area I wouldn't recommend wasting your "time" here. Although the food was good the service & management were horrible!

Definitely one of the better BBQ places in Cocoa Beach, as I've been there a few times, and will continue to go back. The sides are great too. I've tired all of them at least once, but I really like the Turnip Greens ! Sorry, I'm a rib fan, the St. Louis Style Ribs and Babyback Ribs rock are my typical orders. And of course BEER !!!!!!

Being big boned (ok fat) I love me some smoked meat. Wow, that sounded awful. I'm not gay, I mean, I'm married, I mean not that there is anything wrong with that, I mean. Sh*t nevermind. Slow & Low is a BBQ joint across from Simply Delicious at the corner of 3rd and A1A in Cocoa Beach. It's called Slow & Low cause that's how they cook it. If you think it's a gimmick then check out the HUGE smokers they have out back (I always like to see where my food is cooked). The menu is a bit overwhelming, if you aren't a BBQ aficionado, so my suggestion is to just get a combo platter. You get a bit of everything and you don't have to use your brain once you walk through the door. This is especially helpful on Tuesday nights when they have dollar drafts. They have a great bar outside that looks like a tiki hut. Bartenders are pretty good and they have drink specials all the time. They also have the NFL Sunday ticket here but it's not really recommended for watching the game. They have those old school tube TV's and most are obstructed view. If you go with a group be sure to sit outside at the round stone fire pit table. If you go for a late dinner and have a few drinks then you can always continue the party at Cush later on. It's attached to the restaurant and shares a parking lot. Call a cab though at the end of the night will ya. I haven't been to Sonny's yet (the other BBQ place in the CB/Cape area) so I don't know which is better but you certainly won't be dissapointed you stopped by Slow & Low.

Sandwiches were pretty good, I got the combo platter and wasn't very impressed with BBQ. It was very dry and just ok.

Nothing to write home about....nothing really to write a review about...just average. Charlie and Jakes in Suntree blows this place out of the water, but then again, it's NOT in Cocoa Beach is it?

Best BBQ we have tasted in Orlando. Great beach ambiance. Service is good, very attentive. No more words to describe good food.

Only one way to describe this place... comfort food bbq mastery! The pull-pork sammich was unreal good, the okra was cooked to perfection, and the coleslaw was delicious. I felt like I found the holy grail of bbq spots.I swear I saw a unicorn walk into the bathroom. It's also in a very prime spot, right across from Cocoa Beach. Really enjoyed this on the last day of my honeymoon!

Quick, friendly service, great patio, and good food - what more can you ask for from a beachside BBQ joint?

Came here with the team. I should've ordered an appetizer because although the Low Down and Dirty Sanchwich was delicious, it did not satisfy my appetite. They didn't give me enough curly fries (guess I should've ordered the "loaded" side.) Their hot sauce had some kick to it; it was really good. They serve you drinks in large cups, although my friend got a tiny schooner for his lemonade. Dessert was fine; I had the peanut butter/chocolate pie. If I were to come here again, I'd probably consider an entree that my buddies ordered, which included much more sizeable portions and sides.

I like the barbeque here. There are real Southern side dishes as well. The beer selection is GOOD. Service can be sketchy (depending on the crowd) , but always friendly. I will be back.

Very respectable barbecue for a joint in Cocoa Beach. The atmosphere inside is a little heavy, so we prefer to be out in the bar/patio area. The pulled pork and chicken are very good, as are the appetizers and sides we've had (try the corn fritter things). Pass on the beef, which is accurately described as a roast beef - hold out for real barbecue brisket someplace else.

If you want BBQ, this is NOT the place to go! We ended up here because Madd Jack's (check out our other reveiws) was closed on a Monday. And we had a hankering for BBQ. Significant Other (SO) got the baby back ribs. They did give extra because of the small size but that's all they got right. I got the combo plate, and son got prime rib. We were not impressed. The next week we went to Sonny's for luch with a group from work, and those baby back ribs rocked compared to these. And we're not Sonny's fans. Some people have said the drinks were good. Sent mine back after server said it was good. Riiiggghhhttt. Anyway, I wouldn't bother.

This place has great BBQ ribs and pulled pork, a decent selection of beer on tap and oftentimes live music. What more could you ask for? Indoor seating is quiet, so I usually head outside for the action. The waitresses are friendly and the service is prompt. I keep coming back every couple weeks or so... its the best BBQ place in cocoa beach.

Went there with family of 5 and we ordered cocunut shrimp and it was great along with the hot and sweet sauce with sesame seed. Also the fried Shrimp was good too. Got the combo platter and the pork, brisket, chicken were great. all of the barbeque sauces taste great with the food. prices are reasonable and if you have a AAA card you will get 10% off the bill.

This place is delicious and very affordable especially when you're down in cocoa beach on vacation and have had your fair share of pricey meals near the beach! This joint has a great open air bar area and dollar drafts on Tuesdays (and were talking full pints no plastic cup bologna!) and you get your choice of their assorted Homemade BBQ sauces and a wide array of sides including sweet potatoe chips and some great baked beans. We stop here at least twice every vacation for the great food service and hilarious signs on the walls! A must for a space coast vacationer!

I went here the other night hoping for some good BBQ and was sorely disappointed. Pulled pork was extremely dry, beef was bland and cold, ribs were 'fall off the bone' but had no taste, and the pulled turkey was also dry. BBQ chicken was decent. (i ordered the combo, if it wasn't obvious!) The other person with me also ordered a lemonade that turned out to be sugar water with half a lemon in it...a poor effort at fresh squeezed lemonade...would've been better if they made it with country time powder! Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The outside bar looked like a bit of fun, although I didn't partake.
